Please try and arrange family holidays during school holidays.
If parents have to take their holidays during term time for work reasons, PLEASE try to avoid taking family holidays during the first two weeks in September.  This is always a vital settling in period for children with a new teacher and new class routines.

STAFF TRAINING DAYS
Parents will be notified of 4 extra school closures each year for staff training, as soon as they have been arranged.

ELECTIONS
Whenever the school is required as a polling station, this will usually be a staff training day.  The periods of notice for these elections will vary.
